Spectrum Acupuncture & Wellness we treat a wide range of neurological conditions migraines, headaches, post stroke recovery, Bell’s palsy, and Peripheral neuropathy.

Symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy

Neuropathy occurs in the feet or hands due to nerve damage. Over time the nerves lose blood supply due to constriction which causes them to degenerate. As nerve damage progresses, they start to send abnormal signals to the brain. Some symptoms may include:

- Numbness, prickling or tingling in your feet or hands,

- Sharp, jabbing, throbbing or burning pain

- Extreme sensitivity to touch

- Muscle weakness

- Paralysis if motor nerves are affected

How Acupuncture can help?

Acupuncture is really good at restoring blood flow and stimulating the body's nerve pathways. It can also help with nerve regeneration and preservation. If there has been nerve damage or diminished sensation, target treatment will be done in specific areas to re-stimulate the nerve fibers.

Acupuncture needles are inserted into the body’s pressure points to stimulate the nervous system. Which causes endorphins to release, your body’s natural painkillers, in the muscles, spine, and brain. This technique changes your body’s response to pain.

Neuropathy can be treated! Your doctor may have told you that you just have to live with your neuropathy symptoms but relief can be achieved. We have pioneered state-of-the-art solutions to help your neuropathy symptoms. For most of our patients, neuropathy can be reduced or even eliminated.

Spectrum's Treatment plan

We will provide a neurological and vascular exam to determine the extent of injury to the nerves.

Then develop a comprehensive treatment plan CUSTOMIZED specifically for YOUR neuropathy symptoms. Your program will be based on the length of time you've had symptoms and the degree of sensory loss you're experiencing. (Please note we can not accept patients with greater than 85% sensory loss.)

Our ATP Resonance BioTherapy combined with customized neuro-acupuncture treatments has been shown to increase blood flow and expedite healing and recovery. Our clinic has an 87% success rate in treating neuropathy and would love to help you too!
